Default Need help getting back into Atkins

Hi guys!
I have tried it all..and I have done well..but, health conditions have stopped me working out (and I am going to start again) and I have had major major emotional issues lately--stress etc. (a very large scale move..etc) and now I have gained about 20lbs in a year. Yikes! I was about 15lbs away from goal before..and now I am like 35lbs away...

My biggest deal is...I want to start Atkins again..full fledge induction..but, I forgot exactly what the 'clean induction' phase entails.

Can someone give me a run-through? I would like to make some friends on this board too...

Did anyone see the Biggest Loser?? I am thinking..if they can do it, so can I!

I used to love to have my clothes be a little big on me...now things are tight...!

Hi Sara! Here's a link to some ideas: http://www.3fatchicks.com/atkins/atkins-induction.php
but the best thing to do is re-read the book

Good Luck!!

Sarah: Depends on if you want the internet version of induction or the book version. The book version is more strict than the internet version. If you don't have the book, I'd suggest buying it because it's always nice to pull out for future reference.

You guys are awesome..thanks for the welcome!!!

I have to say...I haven't been so good since I wrote the original post...I keep thinking..okay, just this one more thing and tomorrow I will change...I just NEED TO CHANGE NOW OR IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!! This is for my health too...since I regained some of my weight, I have been so much more sluggish and I have two little kids I need to keep up with...

I will check back daily and give you my progress...if you care..lol!!! I need to be accountable to something.

I also think I would like to start a challenge or something..does anyone do that around here?? I like to have that to be accountable with too...like, 30 days without such and such..or something.

By the way, I have given up alcohol..I can't drink it because I have a really bad issue with acid reflux (I mean BAD...I am going to a specialist) and the beer/wine/mixed drinks hurt that massively..so, that will be helpful..right?

Okay, talk to you all later,
Sarah
