Talking Gettin' serious! I know I can, I know I can~!

Today, I am commiting myself to losing 5 lbs by the end of this month. I think it is best for me to aim low due to past failures/quitting diet routines. I will excercise everyday except on sundays at Curves. And I will follow the low carb plan. I weigh 168.5 and I'm 5'1...doesnt look good on me!! I have lost but gained 20 pounds a couple of years ago and I can do it again with the encouragement of 3 fatchicks friends, with the strength of my heavenly Father to not give up and with the will power within me. You all are a huge inspirition to me! Keep up the good work! God Bless~Rebecca

Rebecca. It's much easier to break down the total goal into smaller ones I think. It seems more attainable to reach 5 or 10 lbs, than say 50. And when I reach those small goals or come within reach of them, it's nice to think of it as wow, I lost all but 2lbs of my goal, rather than OMG I've still got XYZ lbs to go.

Anyway, stop by the Weekly Chat as Robin suggested - it's a great group, I'm sure you'll love it here!

Rebecca: I think setting a small goal is awesome. And I just loved reading your post! You've come to the right place for encouragement and you're completely right in that God will also give you strength. As we know, w/out Him NOTHING is possible. God bless to you also

Don't let stalls discourage you. Realise that if you slip you CAN get right back OP. Water IS important so keep drinking it (I know, I should talk ).

What I used to do is, instead of making new trackers, just go into your signature and change your old weight to your new weight. Then click apply and it adjusts everything for you (wish losing weight was that simple )

Welcome to 3FC Rebecca! I'm so glad you are joining in.

Brenda, you mean we don't just click that to lose weight? So that's my problem.
