Default Sooooo....

I've been missing for quite a while, I know. Lots of craziness going on in life...I've REALLY fallen off the weight-loss/exercise bandwagon like y'all would not believe. BUT, I decided to get back in control of things today, starting logging my food on fitday again, have planned some exercise opportunities, etc...SO I'm back!!

Somehow by the grace of God I have managed to actually lose a pound or so over the last 3-4 weeks even though I've been eating horribly...let's hope that once I get back on track those pounds will keep on meltin off!! I can't wait to add another moo!!

Missed you guys!!

Life does have its crazy days. It's tuff but somedays are just plain beautiful when i've lost 2 - 3 lbs.

I've been doing alot of research on diet centers and the scams that most of them are. I'm thinking about a weight loss day camp that people can go to and learn to cook, dance, yoga and just be supported with people in the same situations. I think of this eveyday. If we all had a comfortable place to go to that wouldn't cost thousands of dollars for 2 weeks. The weight loss centers where you spend 3,000 - 4,000 are great when your there but once you get back to your old routine, and cook the things you know, your right back where you were and out a lot of money. Would a day camp be doable? I think of nothing else. I am myself trying to loose 50 lbs before summer and am quite proud of myself somedays. I try to keep it all to myself because if I tell someone, they just say "keep at it". I don't need the words - I don't know if I'm making sense but my question is "WOULD A WEIGHT LOSS DAY CAMP WORK???"

Anyone out there with an opinion??

Thanks

Barbara from Illinois

Thanks Steph! And Barbara...I would certainly attend if it was affordable!! That's why I like that show The Biggest Loser...yeah, they probably won't get that much exercise and all when they get back home, but at least they somewhat prepare the contestants for REAL LIFE...sounds like your camp idea would do that too.

AND....drumroll please!!....TA-DA!! I was able to add another MOO! As of this morning I am officially down 30 lbs!!!!!!

You HAVE been MIA--I missed your flying toast Congrats on keeping your weight under control despite being off-plan. That shows that even when you're eating poorly, you've at least got enough balance in your life to be able to maintain!
