Default Non scale victory!!!

OK, so I have been a little down because I can't seem to get to my next goal, and that causes me to have a hard time not emotionally eating, so its like this big old snowball effect kind of... Anyway, I decided the scale isn't moving but I have been busting my a$$ so somthings got to give.
I recently moved and was unpacking some clothes. I had bought some jeans that were on sale for super cheap but didn't fit me forever agao and I decided to put them on. They FIT yeah, and they weren't a plus size Lane Bryant pair they were a 16 but from the Gap so I can say I'm out of the plus size now!!!
Any one else have NSV?

God, I can't WAIT to be out of plus sizes--that is so awesome! Congratulations!!

While I'm not out of plus sizes quite yet (and won't be for some time), I did wear a pair of khakis on Monday that I haven't been able to wear in over a year. They were always so tight on my thighs and waist that I couldn't wear them for more than about 5 minutes at a time (and only in MAJOR laundry crises ). However, on Monday, I wore them, and they were not tight on my thighs at all, and only slightly tight around my waist, but comfortable enough to wear all day. YAY!

Congrats Ladies...I enjoy hearing about y'all's triumphs outside of the scale. I think the scale is over rated anyways!

My latest NSV is that both of the newest jeans I bought are now loose right after they're washed. I am now finding ALL of my size 15's too big. The J. Lo jeans have been huge for a while now (they're made big though), so now the L.E.I.'s and Paris Blues are baggy (I find those brands to be made quite small!). I don't know if I dare go try on a smaller size at the store because when I bought those last 2 pairs I tried on a couple size 13's and they would barely pull up. What's the deal with that? 15 is too big and 13 is too small??? Sheesh! I think that I won't go try on smaller sizes till I am under 160! I am close!

Another NSV. . .I have been called "slim" and "skinny" in the past week! I know I'm not, but it sure feels great when people notice you've lost!

I never have to dress up but this past weekend I had a conference to go to so I was scrounging around for something to wear. I found two pairs of khakis I've had for literally 3 years and have never worn because they were too tight. Now they are TOO BIG. There was all this extra material in the "pooch" area.

It sounds so stupid (but everyone who has been there will know what I am talking about) but (a couple weeks ago) it was so great to waltz right into the GAP in town and buy some size 16 khakis and L tops. I mean just walk into a normal store close by and pick up some non-plus size clothes was great----'cause it's been a while! It is my mission never, ever to have to go into a Lane Bryant ever again so long as I live.

Oh I'm with you. I can't wait to never have to go to Lane Bryant and Ashley Stewart. That will be the day.

OHMYGOSH girls...ok so I have been feeling kinda down because I have been sick and not able to workout and today was my weigh in and I was down a pound and a half. I was still feeling down though so I thought I would inhance my pity party by trying on my old jeans and other bottoms which are mostly 13's. To my surprise and almost horror (since I was trying to make myself feel worse) a pair fit. So I pulled out another, and it fit and another and it fit. I JUST DOUBLED MY WARDROBE!!! I am so excited I can't believe it!!! I also can't believe that at 10 pounds heavier than my old normal weight I fit into the same pants. I am extatic!
