Default Mary57

This is my first entry. Just started the SBD yesterday. I love surimi (fake crab meat). Is this OK in phase 1? Also, should I use low far mayo or full fat?

For mayo, if you use regular you can only have 1tbs and if you use low fat you can have 2tbs. But only use low fat varieties without high fructose corn syrup. Hope this helps.

Dr. Agatston said in a chat that surimi was allowed since it was made from white fish. However, he may not have realized that it contained a lot of starches that normally would not be allowed. I just flipped through the latest food guide and don't see it listed at all.

to the Beach, Mary. Here's the story on fake crab. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...ight=fake+crab
You are best to stick with foods that are as close to REAL as possible.
