Default Slim Fast Diet?

I was wondering if using Slim-Fast is actually ok. I heard that it works, but I don't want to have to drink it for the rest of my life to keep weight off.

And I really don't want to drink 2 a day (the site recommended that amount), I was just thinking about having one for lunch once in a while. By me doing that, am I renduring it completly useless?

Ok well here's my thoughts.

I remember a year ago when I was trying to lose weight I was drinking them faithfully 2 times a day and I didn't last very long at all. I was always hungry. When I decided that I was seriously going to do this this time my first thought went to slimfast so that I didn't have to worry about counting calories and things like that. Well low in behold today I only had one slimfast shake. But you know what? I wasn't hungry all day because instead of wasting calories on that extra shake I used it for healthy alternatives. So ok long story short yes I think you can only drink one occasionally and still lose weight.

As far as maintaining your weight if your only drinking one a day as it is then I don't see that it would be that difficult to maintain the weightloss without the shakes. You just need to remember to chose carefully what you eat.

I've been using it for the past four days as a breakfast replacement and usually eat a piece of fruit with it. It's probably too soon to tell if it's actually working for me, but the Optima shake is only a 3 on the WW point scale I also find that if I drink it around 9:00 a.m., I'm not hungry again until around 12:30, so I believe it's filling me up enough to not want to much in between breakfast and lunch. So, I think it's working to a certain extent for me. Have you checked out their site? They have a lot of tools, recipes and forms for tracking. Good luck to you!
