A lot of you asked to see pictures. So here they are. The after pictures are about 2 months old, and I've lost another 10 or so pounds since then. I just haven't had time to take more. There is only one before picture. I use to hide when the camera was brought out. My dh never takes pictures anyway, sorry it isn't a standing up one.
Wow, you look so good - in both pics. Most people look much happier in their after pics then when you seen them in the before. You look so happy in both sets, it must be a testament to the type of person you are
Absolutely, fantastic. You look great. I agree with newfiedarling you look so happy in both pics. It's an inspiration to see before and after pictures. It really gives me the inspiration to keep going at this. I know if you all can do than so can I. Great job.
OMG! Wow you look absolutely incredible! How'd ya do it? Congrats to you!!! It is true motivation to see someone who has accomplished their goal! Thanks for sharing. And again, WOW!!!
Wow! Beautiful pictures. You don't need to be standing up, you can see the difference in your face! What an inspiration, I can't wait to be there with you.
WoW ... congrats to you!! Great pics - both before & after! You should be very proud of what you've accomplished! Thanks for posting the pics and being such an inspiration to the rest of us who are in the process of reaching our goals!
Dee, you know, I was pretty happy before I lost the weight. I had really come to the realization that I was just going to be overweight for the rest of my life. I had completely stopped trying, and decided to just accept myself for the way I was. When I had my surgery, I truly believed that I was going to be the only one who didn't have success from it. I'm so glad that it worked! I was happy then, but honestly I am happier now. I feel better than I have felt in years. I can get down and roll around on the floor with my kids. I feel like Cinderella at the ball.
TimmyShawn, I had RNY surgery a little over a year ago. A lot of people think that doing it this way is taking the easy way out. But, for me it was the only way out. Nothing was working for me. And, I have to say that this has definately not been easy. It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do. You physically CAN'T quit; you have no choice but to stay with it. You literally have to learn how to eat, when to eat, and you have to force yourself to drink enough. I'm not complaining at all. Having this surgery was the best decision that I have ever made for myself. But, in many ways this has been the hardest year of my entire life.
