Default Just talking about DH's health and DR's office called

My husband has been having problems with his cholesterol and triglycerides for a long time. He had a bought with pancreatitis recently that just happened to coincide with my plans to start SBD. Well, like I have said he hasn't ACTUALLY been following the diet. But, with his drugs and eating the things that I have served him, he has made some definite progress!

I was pleased to hear that his cholesterol was 123 and triglycerides were 90. That was definitely good news!

Oh, I had to bring him down some notches when I told him. He was like "**** ya! I'm eating ribeye this weekend!" I said, "Now, Joey, this just shows you what can happen when you eat better. It is not an okay to eat bad!"

LOL - I could see DH saying that! Now that we are about to go on ph2, he's all "pasta! potatoes!" and I'm all "nuh-uh - veggies, hummus, and tabbouleh!"
