Lightbulb Comprehensive Nutrition Info

I'm new to these forums, so I apologize if someone has already mentioned this. Before I came here, I had been primarily using a site called nutritiondata.com -- it has tons of info on specific foods and breaks down everything from calories to sodium and all the vitamins. You can even add in an item to a "pantry" and then you just select what you've eaten, hit a total and it gives you a full reading of where you are on your daily goals. For some foods, it lists "better choices" you can make--not always the best substitutions, but interesting to compare. I went nuts adding all of these different foods to my pantry and even called my husband so he could read the label off a package of whole wheat tortillas I was having for lunch (obsessive much?!). I thought the site was neat though because it actually gave you the whole picture on nutritional value, rather than just calories, carbs and proteins that we've been hearing about for the last 2-3 years.

I, too, am a big fan of this site. When reducing my calories, I kind of like to try and get the 'most bang for my buck' when it comes to eating the most nutritious food possible... I use it constantly to try and make sure that I am actually getting most of the nutrients I need from food, rather than relying on vitamins too much...
