Hi there. I'm new to the site; a friend who I jog with told me about it, and she was right--it is way cool! Let's see. I started the South Beach Diet three weeks ago, so I'm into phase 2. Last year, about this time, I started SBD and lost 8 lbs in phase 1, felt a little better and quit. Throughout the past year, I've lost another 5 lbs or so not really following anything. Sooo...I decided to go back to what seemed to work. I've only lost 5 lbs, so far, but I'm hopeful. I'm wondering if anyone else seemed to have trouble getting the weight loss started even in phase 1.
About me...hmm, I have the world's most wonderful husband! We both work at a local college. I love to laugh (and
love to make him laugh)! I'm working to lose weight left over from my own college experience and get to a healthier weight for my body.
