I'm barely inside London, near Esher, so I'm not worried about me, but my husband is in Wimbledon and they're saying the trains are stopping service... I'm so scared.
I got up and turned on the T.V. and saw the news from London - I am so sorry that you all are going through this. These attacks are such an outrage! My prayers are with you.
miranoron, I think Wimbledon will remain unaffected. The trains are stopped, however I haven't heard that South West Trains have stopped, cos they run in and out of Waterloo Although due to all the madness, there's bound to be some disruption. Me and Mine are fine, was very chilling to hear it come over the radio and know that it wasn't just a "power surge"

I heard they closed Waterloo, then opened it, and closed it again. I don't think Wimbledon will get bombed (though who knows, maybe the terrorists hate tennis!) and I'm sure he'll probably get home tonight, but I can't help but worry. It just feels like 9/11 all over again.
Now it's sunk in a little bit, it sounds like they were trying to cause disruption, which they certainly have. But if they wanted to kill lots of people, why not just bomb trafalgar square yesterday!? I think it's mainly political, but of course innocents are always caught up in it.. There's also the possibility that they wanted to lure Tony Blair away form the G8...
Well, you HAVE to know that these people were attempting to upset the G8 Summit. Creeps. I hate terrorists. Why don't they just get jobs and be normal humans like the rest of the world instead of making a career out of hatred?? It certainly is a different world we live in.
