Default Fat free parmesan?

Hi everyone. Am new to this board and love it! Question: does anyone know where fat free parmesan cheese is sold? I see it in Core recipes, but my markets don't carry it. I live in Southern California. (I did, though, find fat free feta cheese at Ralphs which is great in salad.) Thanks for your help.

I can't find it anywhere! The only FF cheeses I've been able to find is Kraft Free cheddar (most anywhere), FF Mozzarella (store brand at Albertsons, which is the same as Jewels), and FF feta at Kroger (Ralphs) and Target.

I would love to have some too if anybody knows where to get it.

I just called the Kraft 800 number, and the customer service representative told me that Kraft used to have the fat free parmesan but it has been discontinued. They have the reduced fat still. So, if fat free parmesan is out there, it's not by Kraft. I would really like to have this product.

Do you have a Trader Joe's? They carry a FF parmesan. Sorry Kath, I know that you don't have one in Texas yet.

Ya know, they could at least have an online store! I might check Whole Foods.

I've never tried it, but there is a soy cheese version of parmesan available to buy online. It is fat free.

Also, someone asked about Xanthum Gum (Sandra, was it you?). They carry this also.

I've been buying soy cheese instead of ff cheese because I like the taste and consistency better. My grocery store has a brand called Veggie Shreds (shredded cheddar and mozzarella). According to the manufacturer's website, there is also a Veggie Parmesan, but I have not seen it in my local store and the online shopping for Galaxy Foods is "coming soon".
