I can't wait! My mom, sister and I used to go to a place in Tyler called Plantation Pines. They have blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and also some vegetables. We probably went for 10 years in a row but for the last few years my mom and I didn't keep going.

Anyway, I found this place. I love having a freezer full of berries!

That looks great. We used to pick all sorts of things when I was a kid. We had a cottage in Southern Michigan which right in what's called the Fruit Belt. We did berries and apples and peaches almost every year. My kids are just getting to the age where they might enjoy it, so maybe we'll look for a place.

My favorite used to be black raspberries. They were different from blackberries--more firm, like red raspberries, and I've never seen them anywhere since.

What fun - I am so jealous! Fresh picked berries - what could be better?

I think there are some strawberry fields around here that do the same thing? Will need to investigate!
