Connie, 2 things--
1. We are trying to eat less processed and more whole food. Eating chips is what got many of us in this position in the first place, so eating them, even if made of something different (soy instead of corn) won't be a good way to maintain a healthy eating plan.
2. Every soy chip I've checked out (just because I believe #1 doesn't mean I have stopped looking around...
) has ingredients that aren't a good idea. I love Trader Joe's and if anyone has soy chips we could eat, it'd be them, but I doubt the ingredients are safe. Post them and we'll check them out.
