Talking Hello to all....

Just wanted to introduce myself. I ahve been on SBD since May 2 and love this way of eating. I am a stay at home Mom to 3 I also homeschool, so being around food at home is my biggest challenge. I look foward to this journey as I feel I have finally found a combination, a diet, a way of eating that fits me and my lifestyle. Hello to all and look foward to getting to know many of you. I am cuurently on SBD online, however being I am a stay at home Mom I feel the money could better be used elsewhere, especially after finding this forum with a bunch af great people(I have lurked for about a week)

Welcome, HappyMom! (great name!)

I love it here too...it's a great, supportive bunch of people. There was a thread on here about the benefits or disadvantages to belonging to SBD online...you might want to check it out and add your own comments.

Get all the off plan food out of the house. It'll be good for you and for your kids...and it'll keep you from being as tempted as you would be if it is there. Make sure you have lots of OP food in the house, and ready to go so you can grab what you need.

One thing that helps me is if I think I'm hungry, I tell myself that I can have some veggies. If I don't want them then I know it's just an emotional craving. If I do, then I usually truly am hungry. This also works with water...I'll drink a full glass and if I'm still hungry after, I'll go have something.

Glad to have you with us!
