Hi,
I have always lost the most weight by counting calories. I have gone from 189 to now, 158 by counting calories since the holidays. I have kind of a weird eating schedule though. I have a Bagel with two tablespoons of low fat cream cheese and a fruit cup every day at Einstien bagels. Its like a brunch for me. I get what I want and it fills me up. Its around 450 calories. Then about 3 in the afternoon I have a wedge of laughing cow cheese with a package of 100 calorie wheat thins. Dinner last night was 3 oz of chicken, 2 small red potatoes, 1 teaspoon of butter, 1/2 cup of carrots and 1 cup of brocolli. For snack before bed I had a jello Chocolate sunday pudding 110 calories, 2 tablespoons of cool whip and 1 ginger snap. I stay between 1200 and 1350 calories. I am not hungry at all. Walk on the treadmill 30 minutes everyother day and joined Shape express to work on the resistance training.
My husband has lost 40 pounds. Every 2 weeks we allow ourselves a splurge at any where we want. So far its working for us pretty well.
