Default Theres more to weight loss than losing pounds - post your non-scale victories here

On another part of this 3FC community we have a non scale victories thread which I thought I would post here. They're the things that have happened to you recently as a result of your weight loss, and don't have anything to do with those sticky numbers on the scale, coz many times they don't move, but you know you are still losing.

Ok mine are:
* Being able to lie in bed and feel comfortable, with out the excess fat roll along my back making me feel awkward coz it's gone

* Being able to fit into a curved bar stool at the pub and not having to stand

* Fitting into a size 20 swimsuit

What arou recent NSVs??

Being able to sit on MOTH's lap without him complaining!

TOPSHOP clothes!

Not staying behind the camera.

Not feeling a prat on my pushbike cos my butt is overhanging the seat!

Wolf Whistles! Irritating and degrading, but also kinda nice

Being able to run up 4 flights of stairs.

what I'm not liking is being a lot colder than usual! I want to get my summer clothes out, but I'm not used to going without my insulation! I'm frozen!

Being able to run and exercise far more than I used to be able to. Running 5km without dying. Once...

Fitting comfortably into size 20 clothes and being able to fasten size 18 (and recognise that just because it fastens doesn't mean I need to race to buy it, I'm confident enough I'm losing to wait until it fastens properly, without a bulge at the top, but at least I can go onto the high street to try things on to see if I'm there yet without getting really bemused looks from the shop assistants...)

Odd one, my hair hangs a lot better than it used to as my face has thinned down.

Going to the supermarket, telling myself to pick anything I want, and craving a salad.

Resisting cakes at work two days running, not through trying, but through indifference.

Oh, another one. Joggers smiling and saying hello as though you're one of them and not just some fat person panting along.

Hiya just saw this thread today on my SPECIAL DAY!!! Yes, girlies... Today I'm getting ready for a training appt for a temp position I'm taking up next week. I couldn't find my fave, comfy black pants, but I stumbled across my 'skinny but fat' black pants and decided to try them on for motivation. Well, not only did they glide over my hips and but, but they're not scraping my belly into scabs AND I can sit down without threatening to expel an eyeball!!! I FEEL FANTASTIC!!! YES!!!

Buying a top at the weekend which for the first time EVER was not baggy. And everyone saying how good I looked in it.

I've not really lost any weight, but something has made me FEEL better about myself.
