Up early again this morning I fell asleep watching The Amazing Race last night. But I just found out that Uchenna & Joyce won I was rooting for them!

I'm starting a modified version of South Beach today. I have to change my ticker AGAIN, and it's not good I know I'm a carb addict. Maybe going on a low carb plan will help me get back on track.

Oldest ds is fixing to meet me here so we can run down the road and pick up the used car he is buying. Seems like a nice car for the money - a 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva with only 53,000 miles on it, and loaded. In much better shape then my car. My brother in law sells used cars and always watches for a good deal for us when we need something. He had to take the money out of his life insurance policy - we are getting no where with attorneys and insurance companies - but hopefully some day we we will settle up on the value of his truck and be able to put that money back into his life insurance. fun fun fun

Good Afternoon Ladies!
I just returned from a Birthday Lunch Date for an 80 year old! I found out it was her BD and invited her to lunch THENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN invited 10 other people! We went to Macaroni Grill.she was so precious......so happy and honored..........the waiters brought out her cake we had given them and she was so cute! It was worth a few phone calls and a few bucks to see the joy it brought her!

Now I am taking a nap....two days with 3 meetings each.....got home at 8:30...a little tired!

It is sunny and beautiful here today!

Hi everyone....I haven't been here in a while....DH & I are away for 3 weeks....we left yesterday....a 10 hour car ride with our dog....Charlie....a Border Collie.

We are visiting our DS1....& his pregnant DW....they live near Vancouver....she is due in Septtember....we are here until Friday....then we leave for Victoria on Vancouver Island to visit with DS2....will be there 1 night....then DH & I will go away to a bed & breakfast for our 40th anniversary for the weekend in Sooke on Vancouve Island......DS2 will look after our dog while we are gone......then come back to Victoria for a week to visit with DS2 & his GF.....then will come back & visit with DS1 & his DW for 1 week.

I am still doing WW online...the Core program....have been doing WW for 6 months....really like the Core program....have lost 17.6 lbs. in the last 6 months....that is really good for me because I have never stuck to anything for that long before.

I am feeling realy good these days....better than I have in years. Actually the the 50 lbs. that I am up since the 80's....has been since the depression stated in the early 80's.

Sorry for not posting more. I’ve had a COMPLETELY HORRIBLE DAY TODAY! Something horrible happened at work. Where I was accused of walking out of a restroom with a male student. We have to escort students to the restrooms because of state testing, so I escorted him to the restroom like I was suppose to do. Another lady was with me, I was taking her…. Well showing her where the room for the testing materials were since it was right behind the building where the boys restroom was. Well as I was walking back, my student comes out of the restroom and we walk back to class. 5 minutes later, I’m pulled out of class by security who proceed to question me about what I was doing. Then he interviews the student and the teacher I was assisting. The student backed me up… but all I can say is THANK GOD I had another adult there with me, otherwise it would have been my word against whoever said they saw me walking out of the restroom with the student. I spoke to the principal, he knew nothing about it. Said he was gonna investigate because whoever reported this, did not go through the chain of command. But he spoke to the two ladies who were with me and the student and they vouched for me as well… I’m so upset, I was bawling my eyes out and I could not finish the last hour of work. Ya know, even tho I was innocent, this stays in peoples minds. I feel so embarrassed, and even tho am innocent, I feel so dirty. If I did not have another adult there, as mentioned before it would have been my word against the accuser and it could have been my job, my name, and my career on the line. It could have ended right then and there.

Well everyone, I just got back from my dr appt. My lab work gave me a lot of info. No diabetes, no high cholesterol, matter of fact it's lower than was expected. Liver function is good, everything was great, except I had a high uric acid level, but that was because I had to wait for them to draw the blood and I was holding it in hehehe. Also my Triglycerides were high. I believe it was 171 when the high max should be 140. So I have to watch my fat intake.

She said other than that, once I lose weight, that should come down.

So I'm good to go. She yelled at me tho for not getting my yearl paps so I scheduled that and go in next month. Other than I feel better. Still have that major headache from crying earlier but I will know more tommorrow when I talk to the principal.
