I'm going to dinner tonight with my hands smelling like garlic. I can't get the smell off, no matter how many times I wash, rub salt, lemon, etc. I like it but I'm wondering if I'll clear out the restaurant!!

It's because I'm making the Farmhouse Chicken tomorrow night so I just peeled a bunch of garlic. Now I'm hoping it's worth it!!

What did everybody else serve with it? I have some garlic mashed potatoes (the Shedd's brand, premade -- but is it too much garlic for one meal?) and fresh green beans. I'm making a special dinner for DH tomorrow night since I'll be home all day.

I served fresh green beans, salad, and brown rice. I also used minced garlic instead of the cloves because I didn't want to have garlic smell on my hands!

Really though, I love the smell and taste of garlic, but I wonder if anyone else will notice???

Sorry, I forgot to mention that side effect. I served it with green salad.

Oh...it's ok if it comes out of all of my pores after I eat it....I just don't like the smell on my hands!

Garlic is absolutely my favorite spice.
