Default Hi, I'm new...with a ?

The dreaded first post!

What proportion of calories have you eaten by lunch? I'm trying to find a good number.

Dinner is usually my biggest meal of the day, but I'm trying to make it and lunch fairly equal and slip in a light snack between the two. I've never really stuck to a *diet* before for very long, because I end up making mistakes and not losing any weight...

Of my 1700 daily goal, I've had 1050. Is this right?

I usually try to spend 1/2 my daily allowance of calories for Breakfast and Lunch and then the other 1/2 for dinner. I tend to eat way more at night after the gym.

I eat 200-250 first thing upon waking.
I eat another 400 by 11a.m.
I eat 200 more by 3 pm.
I eat 400 at 6 pm.
I eat 200 at 8pm.

then the true test: am I still hungry? even on my "bad" days, I've only had 800 calories by dinner time. That's the one thing that remains fairly consistent. If I overeat, its always because of my late night snacking.

I've usually consumed 750-850 (300 or so for breakfast, 300 for lunch, 100-150 for snack) of my 1500-1800 once I've had lunch. I usually split the rest between a small dinner and snack. I keep the snack flexible since, depending on my schedule, I may have it before dinner.
