Default Spring Fling 2005

Hi all,

Just wanted to start a new challenge... So Spring Fling (flinging of lbs) 2005 sounded like fun. I'll end it on May 28, 2005 (that's memorial day weekend in the US right).

So I challenge you to make 3 goals for yourself and also a goal of the week. Report in on the progress and support each other in the fling. You can include non weight/exercise goals if you wish! Start whenever you like (even if it's a month from the finish)

Cheers!

Ali

My goals are:

1. Lose 8lbs
2. Train for the Nordion 10K (which happens to be on memorial day weekend), this should include not only the running, but proper nutrition and weight training)
3. Sign up for the Self Challenge

(4) Actually do a good spring clean/fling in my house
(5) start adding decorative touches

My focus of the week: water!

Cheers!

Ali

Anyone want to join me?

Great idea Ali!

My goals:

1. Lose at least a pound a week so that would be another 10lbs
2. Eat at least 5 veg or fruits a day (can't seem to do it lately)
3. Exercise a least 5 days a week (right now its about 3)

My goal for this week is to be in bed before midnight every night.

I'm new here, but I am just going to jump right in if you all don't mind. This is a great idea. My goals are:

1. Lose 15#

2. Do some sort of daily exercise (at least 30min five days/week)

3. Drink 130oz of water every day

Weekly goal: WATER!!!!

This is exactly what I needed Ali, thanks for the idea.

1. lose 10 lbs
2. succeed in the couch to 3k running plan
3. do pilates 3 times a week and lift weights twice a week
(So run three times a week, lift weights twice a week, do pilates 3 times a week)

This week's goal: Get back on track! Less junk and more veggies and water!

This week's goal: Drink more water and less diet coke!!! This is also my spring break so I want to make my garden pretty for spring, spring clean the house and get my butt organized.

How did you all make out this week? I haven't had my WI but I did manage to get to bed before midnight everynight but one. That's flipping amazing for me! My focus this week is getting those minimum 5 servings of veggies and fruit.

Due to a number of reasons I got derailed last week, but I am back to eating well now! My main aim is to stick to the right amount of points and to write down my goals action plan!

Cheers!

Ali

Since I had midterms this week, I failed miserably. But I am off to a really good this start this week. My rearend is killing me because I tried to do as many hills as possible yesterday. My legs are really gross and need some work. Good luck to everyone this week.

Haven't lost any weight because I haven't been eating very well. I have been exercising though!

My goal this week is to drink lots of water and to get rid of the Easter candy. I have been eating candy for vegetables.. Not good.
