Talking The Hamptons Diet

I just finished reading the book and just started today. I'm not too found of the macadamia nut oil but I did use is this morning to make my scambled eggs.

Is anyone else doing this plan?

Hi Mel,

I haven't heard of this plan, can you tell me a bit about it?

thanks Nancy, I was only able to stick with that for a week because it was low carb and I really like my fruit and pasta so I'm back at weight watchers.

I'm reading this book right now, and so far so good. I do like low-carb when done without the Frankenfoods, but it's the high-fat thing that kills me. I simply cannot handle it.

This books modifies the low-carb guidelines with a touch of Mediterranean diet, which is my native diet: fish, fibrous veggies, focus on monounsaturated oil, and less saturated.

Not done with the book yet, but I'll post again when I finish. Who knows, if I keep this thread active I might lure another Hamptons Diet fan

This diet is great for energy, I have no cravings and I'm not hungry in between meals, but there is a big problem... I'm horribly constipated. This happens every time I lower my carb intake, even if I drink a lot and not eat cheese Should I just add flaxseeds? But then I have to count them in. Hmmm... I'll post this on the low-carb forum I think.
