Hi, I just made a soup that actually tastes great.
1C onions
1/4 C celery
1 TB Smart Balance
1 large head green cabbage
4C organic, low fat chicken broth
1/2 lb turkey sausage
Cut cabbage into 3/8" squares
Dice onions into quarters
Cut celery into 1/8'' half moons
In 4 quart sauce pan, saute the onions and celery in 1TB Smart Balance for about 10 minutes on medium low heat.
Add the cabbage, cover, and continue cooking over the medium low heat for 10 minutes.
Add the 4C of chicken broth
Salt to tast
Turn heat to low and cook for 20 minutes
During that 20 minutes, saute the turkey sausage to crispiness.
After those 20 minutes are up, put in the suasage and cook on low for 5 mintues.
Turn off the heat and let sit, letting the flavors combine, for about 15 mintues.
I think this is completely SBD and I found it quite tasty.
