Default Wednesday Menus

Wow - A Left Coaster gets to start the menu thread! I must have gotten up too early!

B- Banana Smoothie
L- Spicy Grilled Chicken and Steamed Veggies
D- Hopefully a salad - I'll be at a banquet that is usually a casual buffet. I'm planning to spend a few points on a beverage or two

Happy Wednesday!

We are starting to wake up here in the Midwest...
BR: 1 peach, 1 apple
LU: Salad with FF dressing
SN: 2 point bar and piece of fruit
DN: Lean hamburger patty, green beans and sliced tomatoes

Just wanted to add that last nights beef roast (in the crock pot) was fabulous with some horsradish on it! The leftovers will probably be in a soup for tomorrow's dinner.

PS- My WW leader said she got an e-mail about the 94% popcorn no longer being a CORE food...has anyone else heard this? That would be tragic if it's true!

Slow on the draw here in the midwest - thanks for starting - busy day here at work. Boss is out and he left me buried.

B: two boiled eggs (I FINALLY GOT MY STOVE HOOKED BACK UP )
S: cherry tomatoes
L: taco salad
S: yogurt (IF NEEDED)
WEIGH-IN so I'll have dinner AFTER the meeting
D: tortilla w/ham and ff cheese (1)
S: Skinny cow ice cream sandwich (2)

Hope they didn't take that popcorn off - I don't have it very often, but it makes a nice afternoon snack and has lots of fibre in it. If they did I think I'll just use the point from my allowance for it.

I can do without Kettle Korn but both my dog and I would if 94% Popcorn was not considered Core.

D- garlic lime chicken with some ff cottage cheese and veggies

I would think they would remove sf/ff puddings before they would remove the popcorn... I love having popcorn in the evenings, please tell me it is staying!!!!

B: Hi-Lo Cereal( its sugar free) so Im using up the box. I know its NOT on the core list. Skim Milk, banana
S: Half a cantalope and cottage cheese
L: Homeade soup. ( consists of turkey sausage( is that core btw?), garbanzo beans, peas, barely, spices, canned tomatos and broth)
Lean Cuisine. Im only counting the points for the lasagna. I had some in my freezer and Im not letting them go to waste
S: Canned sugar free pears
D: Baked flounder, Quinoa, brocolli
Dessert: SF, FF chocolate pudding.

I dont "get" the use of FF products on Core. They usually have a lot of sugar in them. Besides, most FF dressings are vile. (in my opinion)

lunch:
carrots
lala's turkey chii (core)
laughing cow cheese - light (1 pt)

dinner: going out will not be core.

exercise: 45 min bike ride, hilly

Precisely the reason they are allowed - FF products are vile tasting for the most part so people won't overeat on them. I could easily eat 4 oz. of real cheese but a 3/4 oz. of FF is plenty.
