Default FF Cool Whip-Yikes!

Ya know, I use this all the time and at first I measured it carefully but lately I've just been "eyeballing" it. Well, I looked at the label last night and was shocked to see that there are supposed to be 25 servings in a regular size container! 25!!! I'm lucky if I get 6!

Yeah, those tablespoons are hard to eyeball. I try all the time...smooshing it down into a tablespoon is tough, so I just eyeball it. I know it takes us about two weeks to go through a tub...usually 2 servings a night...so I guess that about works out to 25 servings...but probably a bit less.

I did find a little shot glass at Wal*Mart that is marked with measurements in tablespoons. That might be more convenient for measuring.

OMG DH & I (mostly me) go thru at least a tub a week. I REALLY have to start paying better attention to portion sizes on this stuff!

But 2 tblsp. seems so small

at Peggy..

I think portion control is my biggest problem! But I must admit that the PB cup is just as delish with 2 Tbsp of cool whip, so...I guess I just need to deal. *sigh*

I went to the grocery store last night and wanted to buy some cool whip or similar. I looked at Cool Whip and all the off brands and all of them had corn syrup in them. Is there one out there that is just fluff without the sugar?

They make the fluff from sugar. The only other similar thing would be the original: whip heavy cream with splenda. Yes, there is a lot of saturated fat, but no trans fat (at least, I don't think so...there is definitely trans fat in Cool Whip), and with the small amount (2 Tbsp) you are unlikely to have probs. from the fat.
