Default How many steps?

I know there is a goal with a pedometer for steps per day? How many steps should we aim for? thanks

There is a movement now called something like "10K a day" - you can probably find a lot of info about it on google. Search for "pedometer 10K gov" and you should pick up a government page about it, hopefully. You can also drop the gov of course! The government seems to be picking up on the 10,000 steps a day thing a lot lately, and they do have some pretty good info on it now. Some sites say that you need to see what your current step rate is, then try to just add 250 steps a day or week, until you're up to 10,000.
