Ten stone is 140lbs so take 7 away and you must be 133lbs
Are you short, that sounds a great weight to be to me

Hi CS I see in your profile you want to be 112 pounds that is v thin! Don't aim too low it might not be maintainable.

9 and a half stone is

9 x 14

plus 7

get a calculator OR figure that 10 stone is 140 pounds. Take off the odd 7 pounds you are under 10 stone and bingo bango you are......

133 pounds

Like veggie says 112 pounds (8 stone) is very light. Are you sure this is a good target for you?

Also you have set yourself a target of losing a whole stone (14 pounds) in just 5 weeks. 3 pounds per week is rapid and will be very difficult to do in a healthy manner, and almost impossible to do that quickly in a way that means the weight will stay off!

Do you have a function or occasion that you are trying to lose for? Or do you just like setting quick goals for yourself?

You might want to rethink your immediate goals, give yourself longer a time and perhaps not focus on your weight but your appearance and fitness levels, instead. You can be a lot thinner and leaner without losing a lot of weight if you use physiacl activity to tone up you muscles and exchange loose flabby fatty bits for more muscle tissue.

However you choose to do it, take care and keep coming back to chat. None of bite too much!!!

Yes 3 pounds a week is an ok target for someone like me who is 7 stone (98 pounds ) overweight but for much lighter people it is not realistic.

Hehe, i've been doing it also wrong, then! I thought I weighed 126lbs! Ooops! Well, I'm on the South Beach Diet and will be in Phase 1 for about 2-3 weeks. This means I may loose about 10-15 lbs (fingers crossed) and so i will be about 118lbs. If I do Phase 2 then for 2 weeks, I will maybe be able to get down to 111lbs. *shrugs.. I'll just see how I go. I put goals in to just motivate myself a little.. I'll be happy with 8 and a half stone, I'm sure. I'll just see how it all goes, and I promise to keep you all posted! Thank you for your help heh.. Also, I'm 5"3. And I'm 13! Doesn't sound good, to me! I feel uncomfortable in my skin... so yeah, I just wanna feel lighter, happier.. etc Thanks for the support everyone!

5' 3" and 133lbs is'nt bad at all cobalt and at only 13yrs old you'll soon have those few extra pounds off I suppose you are pretty active at your age which is even better

Sounds thin enough to me. My sister is about the same weight and height and she looks at target to me.

Heya!
I don't think you HAVE to be happy at your weight just remember that it's not a bad weight to be and there's no rush in getting to a more ideal one. When I was 13 it seemed like everyone was thinner than me but looking back I was actually pretty slim and a lot of the really thin people will fill out as they get older. I also had terrible dress sense (no one looks thin in elasticated shorts!)
