Default I tried this last year

But now I'm thinking maybe I'd better try it again. Perhaps I didn't follow Phase 1 strictly enough last time.
I've seen the writing on the wall because this morning the scale showed me up 12 lb in the past 3 weeks of sitting around and stuffing my face. Normally I'm a bit more active but I've had a badly infected finger and couldn't do anything without causing serious pain. I can't believe how quickly I gain weight when I'm not concentrating on behaving myself. Of course, when you're feeling lousy, it's easy to call just about everything "comfort food". I'm having difficulty breathing which problem always seems to kick in when I pass 280 lb so I really have to get serious again.
It's good to see that this site has grown so much since the last time I was here. I look forward to getting to know you all better and getting reacquainted with lots of you.

You betcha! She's back. Welcome, Linda. Hey was it your middle finger that had the problem? (I just had to ask!)

LOL, yes it's my middle finger, Ruth. Any reason you just have to know?
This morning I forgot I was starting SB today. I'm such a schmuck! I am going to read the book again and get myself organized.

Welcome Linda and Karen!

Linda, I totally know how you feel...I completely forgot about my morning situps this morning and am sitting here with awful posture, frustrated with myself! But you are not a schmuck! Just do some shopping, plan out your menu(s) and start again tomorrow! Friday's a good day...then your first carb day will be on a Saturday...party!

Already fell off the low carb wagon because of the birthday cake..Darn cake kept calling me! Back on the wagon again. Thats a good sign I guess, usually once I'm off I end up being off for a while. Is anyone else doing Curves diet? If so has anyone found an alternative to the Curves shake they suggest you drink. It is rather expensive.
