Modest it sucks I agree. What I've been ahem "trying" to do lately is eat 5 - 6 small meals a day, watching my calories and keeping my carbs around 30. This allows for more veggies and or fruit. Bottom line to any diet is calories so if I can keep them low by eating more veggies well then my carbs must go up.

Like I said I'm trying, another experiment lol. OY

haha. it seems like with low carb i could eat enough to get full and not have to worry about calories because i had to make myself eat 1200 in my prime. there was this blissful couple of weeks where i felt SO in control and not hungry often, i want it back! haha.

Yeah I remember that as well (I put some suggestions on your question in buyer beware).

The thing w/Atkins that I am learning is if you want more carbs, you gotta watch the calories or whooosh your weight will go right back up there, but then this is just my opinion and observations I have made w/my own weight.

I remember sitting at my desk not thinking of food the entire day.......now!! i'm like do do do do do do do waiting for my next meal to come up. But honestly the eating a couple of times is starting to work, and eat even if your not hungry b/c thats what keeps you from being ravenous at the next meal. I still have a hard time w/dinner, it seems I wanna scarf down everything in my path. But I will work on that. One dang meal at a time

I've become like that also. I never USED to be hungry and now I have been. I need to figure out how to get back to NOT being hungry. Supper is my biggest meal and I'm sure where the most of my carbs and calories come from. I'm not the counting type (I can never keep track of what is what), even though Fitday would help a lot, I'm not usually able to sit and find the portion sizes I eat (I mean, what's an OZ of cheese or an OZ of meat??), so I'm sure that's the main reason I've not lost weight. I probably should cut down my supper--and I keep saying that and it doesn't happen

The key to losing the weight is to make sure you go to bed on an empty stomach.. Try not to eat at least two hours before going to bed..

Jo-Ann, you know the old timers will tell you that, and I do believe it.
