Hi Sugar Apple, what did you think of your Pilates-class? Did you like it?
And is there anybody else here that has done Pilates – either mat-work classes or apparatus training? And could you tell me which you prefer, and why?
I’m a complete newbie to Pilates.
I just did a weekend-course this weekend, and I’m a bit stiff today so I’m definitely thinking that the exercises were effective. The class I took lasted for 1,5 hours both days, and we didn’t use any other equipment than the mats.
I have done yoga before, and a few of the exercises reminded me a bit about that. But there was a lot of good exercises for developing strength, and I really liked all the stretching at the end. It was a good class, so I think I’m going to sign up for the longer course that starts after summer.
