Default How do you count your loss?

I was just curious as to how to count my losses. This time last year I just found out I was PG and weighed 317. when I went in to deliver my son I weighed 305. I left the hospital 10 pounds lighter at 295. But I didn't start to "try to lose the weight" until I was 8 weeks post partum, hence the 289.5 so where should I count my losses at? If I count from my weight last year I'm at 48 pound loss but if I count from when I actually began trying it's at the 20.5.

I think it's up to you. I counted my highest weight as what I was after having my daughter. Cause I didn't really think that losing "baby" weight (literally!) counted as weight loss cause it wasnt fat that was the weight. If I was you, I would count from my highest baby-free weight.
