I was curious, if you are cooking yourself, how do you estimate the calories? The sites I have found have given me good ideas about each individual item. But say I make a chicken dish and I use ingredients such as kale, sugar, and parmesan cheese. I know the nutritional info for each individual item, but if they are going to go into a pot that serves ... say like 4 servings. So I just add up all the items and their calories and then divide by how many servings?
Also, about fitday.com If I know just calories and I go to insert a particular food, i have to insert fat grams, this and that before it lets me save. How do many of you deal with this? Specially for those meals that you do make yourself.
Did I confuse anyone? heheheh, I wasn't quite sure how to explain this, but I hope it came out somewhat understandable.
