Default **Week Of 4/25**

Hi All!

So glad we only had a short outage on the boards! Hope everyone had a great weekend! We had a really nice one. Did quite a bit of cleaning on Saturday before going to Alex's b-day party...which was soo much fun! Today we had lunch with my mom and grandparents at our favorite diner, then went to the big WalMart and did some shopping.

Karen, did Alex have any of the frosting? Peter pooped BRIGHT BLUE this AM!!! It was soo funny I was laughing out loud!! Thanks again for having us, we had a great time!

Hi guys,

Wow, I was so sad to not be able to get on here this afternoon!! I'm glad that they are back up and running now.

Well, the party was a great success. I think everyone had a great time. Alex tried to open his presents all day UNTIL it was time. Then he couldn't care less. I ended up opening all of them for him. He stuck his hand in the icing on the cake and didn't like it at all. So the cake pics are fairly neat. He did get a little icing on his face but that was all. He wouldn't touch the stuff with his hand. I will post a pic when I download them.

Lauren: Thank you so much for coming. I hope you guys had a good time. Alex loves his truck. He takes the trailer off and pushes the truck part all over the place. I took a lot of his old toys out of the playroom and put the new ones out. I didn't realize how much Little People stuff we had gotten him until I started opening it all. I think I overdid it just a little.

We got up early this morning and went to a townwide garage sale in a town by us. DH got Alex some wooden building blocks for $1 and a brand name telescope for $5. He was very excited. Alex hollered and waved his arms the whole time (riding in his stroller). When we got home he ate lunch and slept for over 1 1/2 hours in his crib!! He's in bed now and it's only 6:30. He was so tired and cranky I didn't have a choice. I'm probably going to pay for it later when he's not sleepy at 10:00!

Hope everyone has had a super day!!

Hi all...............so glad the site is back up and running.

This will be short. My Dad called this afternoon and they rushed my mom to the hospital. She did not know where she was, who she was, or who my dad was, and started throwing up blood and losing it at the other end too. Needless to say I am an emotional wreck at this time. My Dad is going to call me later tonite when they find out what's wrong with her. In the meantime, I am just trying to keep my mind busy, which is really hard to do. I sure hope she pulls through. She was doing good the last couple days. I will keep you all posted.

Karen: Glad the party was a sucess!!!!

Hello to the rest of you all. Sorry I can't respond to everyone at this time.

Have a great week!!!!!!

Alex stuck his hand in the cake icing and REALLY hated it:

He wasn't fond of our singing either:

Peter was nice enough to show him the ropes:

Karen: Those pictures are to cute!!!!! Matter of fact I have one of Brandon crying on his 1st B-Day that looks just like Alex. It sure brings back memories for me. It's to bad that we all can't get together like that.

Just wanted to update you all on my Mom. She is in ICU and they are giving her 2 pints of blood as we speak. She is a little more alert and knows where she is. The Dr on duty said her anmonia levels are 63, but not sure what that means, although they gave the impression to my Dad that it was high. Vicki, if your reading this, do you know what this number would mean? They said that this is probably why she has had confusion. They are going down her tomorrow morning to see where the blood is coming from. When I know anything else, I will let you all know.

I appreciate all your well wishes and prayers!!!!!!!! I am so glad to have you all as friends. Talk to you later.

Jackie--Does she have liver failure??The liver is the organ that will break down ammonia into urea for us to urinate out..NOrmal levels are 15-45...Here is a website to explain..http://my.webmd.com/hw/health_guide_atoz/hw1768.asp People with high ammonia levels are really weak and get very confused because of the buildup in the brain...U can almost smell it through the skin..Is she jaundice??Hope all turns around really fast for U....Keep us posted...

I've enjoyed looking at all the pictures. Let's see, I think the new kids on the block are Lori's kids, correct? Lori, you have adorable children - loved the face painting.

Jackie - I'm so sorry about your mom and will keep her and your family in my prayers.

Karen - glad the party was a success! He's such a good looking boy - thanks for sharing all the pics with us. Nice to see pics of you and of Lauren and Peter - another good looking boy.

RR - Loved the picture of your silly cutie also!

gotta run - have a great week.

Hi all....................

Als: Great pictures of the kids. They are very cute. Now let's see, I think all of our kids are the cutest ones on this site!

RR: She has chirroris of the liver, not complete liver failure yet from what I can understand. Thanks for the link, I'm sure it will be real helpful!
By the way, I think you have a little superstar there!

They could not find where the blood was coming from and have called in a kidney specialist. All of her lab work shows abnormal, the low tests are coming in high and the high tests are coming in low. She seemed more confused this afternoon, it comes and goes. Anyways that's the latest and will keep you all posted. Thanks again for all your prayers!!!!!!!!

We have to decide on our paint so gotta run. Take care

Hi guys,

We had our 1 yr check at the pedi today. He only gained one pound in 3 months. He lost 7 oz from the last time we were there. Ugh. I was excited because he wasn't nursing as much. I guess I'll have to add at least one more nursing session. He eats so much I can't believe he's loosing. I know he's more active but I would still expect a gain over a loss. He's two inches taller. He's just jumping up like a weed!

Jack: I'm so sorry about your mom. I will keep her in my prayers. I hope she's feeling better soon.

RR: That was such a cute pic of your silly girl!

Lauren: My gosh, he loves that truck!! He's driving it all over the playroom.

Hope everyone has had a lovely day!!

Well..I am gonna be honest about what is going on..I was embarrassed but we are all friends...
I am right at 8 weeks pg and in the process of miscarrying..I was surprised about 2 weeks ago when I tested positive and the blood counts were good but now things are not working out again..I had an U/S that showed no heartbeat in the baby...I am not as devastated as the last time this happened because I can now look at the most wonderful gift I have ever received everytime my baby runs in the room....

RR: I am so sorry to hear that, but at the same time God knows what's best. I have been wondering about you lately and thinking that you might be. Please don't ever feel embarrassed about something like that. It is not your fault. And yes you are very blessed with the sweetest little girl you could ever have. Again, I am sorry and will keep you in my prayers!!!!!!!!
