Question

I am 50 lbs overweight. Cutting back on sugars and starches has always helped me to lose weight. Now I want to try WW though. Where can I get a points list to look at?? First, I need to look at a points list to see if this is doable for me. Lots of diets aren't because they contain too much sugar/starch. Can anyone help??

Thanks
Amanda

Head over to dottisweightlosszonefor an idea of points on various foods and restaurants. Also, angelfire.com/va/toni/WW123.htmas an on-line WW points list.

It's up to you how you spend your points. You can spend your points on lots of sugar/starch, or none at all.

There are alot of people who do a lower carb version (cutting out sugars and white flours). W/W is eati,ng a balanced array of foods.

For example most lean meats are 1 point per 1 ounce cooked.
1 slice of regular bread is 2 points.

A Taco Bell Taco Salad w/shell is 17 points.

You get a range of points to use during the day (you "must" eat your minimum but not exceed your maximum.
