Hi Everyone.

Reading all the postings with great interest. I am mentally "preparing" myself. I am re-joining WW next Tuesday and want to go in with the right frame of mind.

I am feeling good just knowing that I will be back on track and in control of my life.

Understand the program changed again a bit in January. Any big differences that I will be surprised at??

Wish me luck all. You are a great bunch!

Taurus:

Welcome back! I know exactly where you're coming from. I'm a lifetimer too who fell off the wagon awhile ago, gained back a bunch of weight, got fed up with it, and finally went back to WW with my tail between my legs. I felt ashamed and embarassed, but decided I had better go back now then wait another couple of months when I'd no doubt be even heavier.

As far as any changes to the program, it will depend on when you originally joined. If you learned the 1-2-3 points system, then it will be almost the same. WW is stressing the 10% loss program now which has you strive for a 10% loss in your total body weight. They also stress exercise alot more now and have designed a series of questions to determine what type of eater you are so you can better tailor your way of eating. You're restricted to counting only up to 4 grams of fiber per serving (it used to be pretty much unlimited) and the point spread between minimum daily points and maximum daily points is only 5 instead of 7.

I think that's pretty much the only differences between the 1-2-3 points system and the 10% difference. If I'm wrong, will somebody please let me know.

Anyway, sorry to have been so long winded. Congratulations on your decision to rejoin WW. You'll be glad that you did.

Janise

Dear Janise;

Thank you for the warm welcome! I am glad there was not to many changes to the program. It seemed like a good one, as long as I followed it.

How long has it been since you have re-joined? What are your goals?. Mine is to lose a least 50. I am trying really hard to get organized as I am off work for a few weeks. Pre-filling out trackers etc. Just trying to cover all bases, I really don't want to mess up this time around. Hope you have a great weigh-in.

Hi Tarus,

I am coming back from the 123 point system and was wondering the same question. Thank you for asking what the changes were . I never became a life timer....but I will this time!

Congratulations for making the first step and deciding to go back. I wish you luck, and happy losing!

We will do this together!!

(hugs)
Angie

Angie;

Thank you for the words of encourgement. I am only a lifetimer in terms of re-joining so many times. Success has always been just out of reach, except for this time.

I am gone over the weekends but looking forward to reading the posts on Sunday.

Good luck!

Tarus
