Default encumberent (?) bike

so, i haaaaate exercising. i have a treadmill but barely use it because it makes me way too tired and it seems to go on forever because i get so bored just walking.. but my mom bought a cheap encumberent (that's probably not spelled right ) from wal mart and i loved it. i could easily do 30 mins because i was distracted by the tv show i was watching. i just glanced down to make sure i wasn't pedaling too slowly every now and then.

Modest - I love the recumbant bike too. I use it at the gym on days that I dont want to run or us the eliptical. IT is supposed to be better for your joints too. Just make sure you are breaking a sweat! That is so important!

Could you put your treadmill where your tv is or vice versa? I have a stationary bike I use too. I don't know the difference between stationary, encumberent (I dunno how to spell it either ) or eliptical.

I would love to get one of those total gyms and a treadclimber. That would be all I need to get a complete workout in every aspect. Too bad I don't have the $$$.

Is that one of those where you are in a reclined position? I saw some people riding those on the street by the beach house in FL last time we were there. It looks very comfortable, but isn't it harder to see while driving??

Recumbant bikes are actually stationary bikes, but with you pedaling with your feet forward instead of below you... make sense? I dont know what those ones on the street are called.. but they must be similar~

Those are also easier than a treadmill. Yup, I've been on them. I can flip off 3 miles and feel good about it. Where I bust my butt on the treadmill for a mile. The bike is also easier--and I don't get bored as much. I'm seriously thinking of selling the treadmill But I'll probably just keep doing the WATP tape or the TaeBo

haha, i'm thinking of selling my treadmill too! i like the bike so much better. tomorrow when i do, i am going to adjust the resistance so that i work more of a sweat up. but i hate the treadmill so much.

karen, i'd like to post on the dailies!, haha, and i will when i can. i just got a new job that's kicking my butt though, 28 hours a week plus school. but, it keeps me busy i reckon. hope everybody has a good night.

ps- i reeeally had that bike name spelled way off, haha. enbumberent, recumbant, haha....
