Fibromyalgia #117
Hi. Decided to start a new thread. It always loads fast for me, but I don't know about you Mima, with your laptop. Anyway a new one it is.
Mima - I am sure it is a stressful time for your grand daughter as well. Now she can relax, and know that she did her best. Time is getting shorter for you as well. I can't believe how fast this month went, and we will be moving on Wednesday already. Wow! Time flies when your having fun
Hi Anagram - good to have you back! Hope your time away was really nice and restful for you. Now, you have the flurry of Drs. appt. and just general things after having been away. Take it easy and perhaps the flare will lesson soon.
Candince, Meme, Ally - have you ladies left us My goodness, it seems lika a long while ago you posted. Perhaps it isn't but it seems like it. I hope you are all doing ok now and that you are just getting on with life.
Rita - I suppose you are off and running to work? Well, hope you day goes well.
Here is a little thing I got in my e-mail today, and I really liked it and wanted to shae it with you.

That is beautiful, Anne. How is your packing going? With such a distance to your new home, you won't be running back all the time. Now that I vowed to never move again, Brad talks about moving down here for a longer period of time. We are so blessed to have so many options. We could sell the condo that is fully paid from the sale of my house, we could sell the house and live in the fifth wheel during the summer-we could rent them out. Only thing I know is that we are not doing it next year-we have to finish the house. One day at a time. The thing I worry about is that we have 3 kids up north. But people do this all the time. Well, parade today. My stomache is acting up. Take it easy everyone. Mima

Mima, the packing is coming along ok. The place is starting to look empty, so that must be a good sign
Hey, my brother and his wife, sold their acreage to their daughter, bought a 34' fifth wheel, with a pullout in the livingroom and bedroom. They go to Arizona for 6 months and then back to the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, where it is now Spring. They live in their 5th wheel year round and love it. Like he says, when they don't want to do it anymore, they will buy a condo. He actually bought a couple of lots in Yuma, and this year, built himself a building with a bathroom, laundry room and guest room. So, they left a huge house to do this. I don't think I could live in a 5th wheel all the time, but if it works for them, that is great.
Not much planned for today - you guessed it - more packing

Oh Rita-it is unnerving to be in an accident-you find that you keep being jumpy for days-I hope they find you not at fault-remember that there are many accidents a day and yours was a small one-I am nervous about driving home because we hit something on the way down-but it was minor!!!!My last accident was because I went through a red light and the girl was so nice to me and it was totally my fault. I guess you have to put things in perspective and thank God you are ok. Anne, we talked about living in the 5th wheel all summer-not sure I could do it. We are taliking about buying a park model and making a small apartment in our house and renting the upstairs. We still need storage space in the house because Brad had a business and still needs to store tools and the papers for taxes etc. But I am happy living in this now. Best to you on your packing-next week it will be over. Hi all-how are you feeling Meme? 5 days til baby!!!!Bye for now Mima

Hey There
Hello Everybody- Just a short note. I had a wonderful time in Az. My brother had every day planned. My daughter was just awed by everything. She has never been west.. I am sure she will go back.. She loved every minute as well as I did. We spent a day each at the Grand Canyon ,Sonoma, Tombstone and Busbee. Spent money and just enjoyed everything. I had a terrible allergy attach that lasted for 4 days . I finally gave up what I was taking and went to a pharmacy who gave me something else that got rid of most of it but knocked me out the first day. I took much less the second day.
See you later as you can guess I came back to a bunch of work...Joanne

So glad to have you back Joanne and glad you had a great time-that is one trip we want to take. Getting a Walmart haircut today-that's scary but we have to shop. 4 and a half days til Evan. No wonder my stomache is acting up-STRESS!!! 2 weeks til we go home and i have mixed emotions. The weather is so gorgeous and we are starting to meet people at Brad's church. They even had a brunch there after the servive for $ 7.95 each. I haven't cooked for days. But my weight is going to show it-I have been eating too much. Bye for now Mima

Hey There
Hey Mima- If you didn't do anything but look at the mountains ,taking a riding trip,It would be worth the money. It is so beautiful. It was the second time for me. You see something different each time.
Now to the catching up! I did pretty well with my eating . I don't see a loss worth speaking about ,but, no gain. That's something.
I know you are excited waitng for that G/baby! Usually when people start having mixed emotions about going back north, they are thinking about staying longer in Fl. Maybe next year you will stay 6 months...Enjoy the time you have left.
Hello Everybody..I guess Happy is busy packing..Meme- I hope things get resolved soon with your health . Rita- How are you doing with your exercise? Anagram-Did you enjoy your time in Fl.?How are You Ally?
Bye for now...Joanne

Really into heavy packing the past couple of days. Just about have it beaten. After I get it all packed, it will be time to start cleaning, but that shouldn't take to long. Thank heaven for smaller spaces!!!
Joanne - nice to have you back. Glad you had a good visit and holiday.
Meme and Candice have been MIA for a very long time. Haven't heard from Meme for at least 9 or 10 days and Candice even longer. Hope you gals are doing ok.
Well, I had better get going. Just taking a short break here Dang heart is not co-operating. I will have to go in and get it checked next week.

Best of everything Anne. Go slow-take naps. Joanne, next year it's at least four months and probably seven the year after, God willing. Hubby is getting plugged in around here. He's going to work for the church 2 days a month and do odd jobs around here-plus we will have the new baby. We have to sell the condo to buy something here-not bad. I wanted to do that before I married Brad-I just had to wait. Got a haircut at Walmart-it's ok but I will be glad to see my hairdresser. My daughter finds out about her foot today and my brother finds out about his tests. And a friend of mine had to go home early because her brother had a seizure-lots of people to pray for. Be good everyone. Mima

Hey There
Meme and Candice must be having some difficult times. I hope they are with us again soon. Ally now must be in deep love/lust. Bless her I hope she is happy..Rita ,I hope you are doing well..
Happy, Maybe this will be your last move for awhile. I moved into this house 43 years ago and said" never again."My son moves. Buys ,fixes up and sells. He is still young and able. Ofcourse he makes a little on it too. I help him as much as I can.
Mima..When you get down for longer times maybe we can get together more . I, too, hate to go to strange beauty shops. We get used to one and they get used to how we want things and none of us like to change too much.
I still have my allergy. I seem to have some congestion left over.
I walked yesterday ,but, not today, My back has been hurting . I don't think I walked straight all day.We had to really rush to catch a plane in Atlanta. They had already called the last call. My daughter ran ahead and told them we were coming. If any of you have ever been in Atlanta airport you know what a nightmare it is. I must have walked miles. And then after all that a child across from us had a siezure and the plane was held up almost 30 minutes. They took her and her family off and to a hospital. A Dr. was traveling with them.
Bye for now...Joanne

I'm here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My puter is not doing to well and it is hard to post some days, seems my ram is messed up (don't have enough) even after my son put more in and DH says a new computer is out for now. Just very frustrating to not beable to get it to work right! Been working in the attic, we have lots of mice up there and they are messy little critters! Stink...pew.....Trying to get things washed up and reboxed to store again! I have already thrown out 20 large garbage bags of unsalvageable stuff! The mice must have had a very big party up there! My hips are screaming no more stairs but I am not listening to them! Dr. Appt. today and errands to run if able, cold and rainy...yuck!

Hey Candice-put dcon packs in your attic-Walmart!!-they will help but probably not eliminate=We also have the same problem in our attic. When I get home, lots of stuff is getting thrown out-countdown to buying-2 years!!! Baby is coming in 2 days. My brother's test were great-if anyone has constant indigestion-get it checked -now he is on a med for acid reflux-if not treated, it could turn into cancer but they have great meds now-he also has beginning diabetes which my sil credits me for diagnosing-actually it was from Brad because he knows about syptoms-doc says she should have checked it more!!!Praise God he is good!!!We prayed so hard. Went on a sailing cruise last night-gift from son from Christmas. It was so beautiful. We saw the sun go down on the ocean. Hope your back feels better, Jo-anne. Next year, you will have to let me know when you come down this way-I may have my car here but I don't do highways so I have to depend on Brad. It's something to look forward too. Hey guys-feel better!!!All of you. I made all my appts yesterday-eyes, gynecologist , etc. Gotta catch up. Mima

Hey There
Decon works ,but, only so long. I have fed the critters for years. We finally woke up and started looking for the places they were getting in. I think we have found all the spots and closed them up. I haven't heard anything this winter.. Squirrels as well as field mice were a biggie here.We had a possum take up house keeping and had babies. I called for help then. They dig under the foundation of the house. We are always looking for outside holes. That helps the other critters to get in too.
Tops tonight. I am hopeful that the scale says the same as mine here at home. At least that I turtle.
Mima- We will plan on getting together again next year..
Hello All....Joanne
