Yaay for me too, just got back from Curves, worked hard there and feel good Waiting half an hour on my friend putting her little'un to bed and then we'll go for a brisk walk. Don't feel even remotely guilty for being a pig earlier. I've gotten over it
Well done Cathy on your first exercise of the year..keep it up woman, you know you can do it, you were walking half way to England some days last year

I have trawled round the shops again today. Managed to get myself a pair of trousers and a t-shirt for the gym from TK Max. I also bought 2 sports bras in Primark. I saw some that I liked in M&S but didn't want to pay £20 each when I hope to be at least a size smaller in the not too distant future - lol.

Think I might get as much housework done as possible and then take the kids for a long walk to the beach. Was going to take them with their skates but can't do that on my own as they are both really young and need both hands holding at the same time.

Have to get out of the building before I strangle my sister in law. She is 29 going on 12. My washing machine is broken at the moment and so we are having to do laundry at my mother-in-laws (next door). My sister in law always does her laundry there and came crying at my door this morning because I had a load in. Her reasons being that she can only do her laundry one day a week and that mine is in there. Am so mad because there is no reason why she can't do it another time. I am doing laundry for 4 people, she only has to do it for 1, I work longer hours than her all week and work further away plus I have 2 kids to look after. She is always giving it the hard done by thing. She says that she has no money but she pays virtually no rent, has no dependants and every day when we get home she has parcels from the catalogue. The no money thing is just so she can get away with buying crappy birthday and Christmas presents for the kids - lol. She also reckong that she is on more money than me.

Kids and I have come to a compromise. We are going to walk to the beach (approx 1.5 miles - all hills - lol). My son says that he will take his skateboard instead of his rollerskates. We are taking a picnic.

Have just got back from the beach. The kids and I walked there. It was sunny but windy and cold when we set off. We wrapped up warm in hats, scarves etc and packed the skates etc. It is approx 1.5 miles up and down steep hills. I pushed a buggy with my 3 year old daughter in and carried a rucksack with the picnic, helmets, pads etc in it. Not bad exercise - lol.

When we got there the skies opened up and it rained heavily and then the thunder and lightening started. Had to ring to get my father-in-law to pick us up as we didn't all have hoods - lol.
