Default Feeling yucky

I just thought I would post. I had to make a trip to the ER on Sunday. I was having severe abdominal pain. I thought it was a galbladder attack but it wasn't. The doctor told me it was a ulcer and I had to take medicine to get rid of it. I am still feeling yucky. I went to my regular doctor today and he explained it alittle more to me and told me it will take some time for me to feel 100% again. He also ran a test to see if I have the bacteria in the system. I don't know the results of that one yet. I have a teriffic headache from the medication he put me on and just wish it was gone. One good thing about it is I haven't been able to eat much at all so I have to have lost some weight. Well I hope to get better soon. Talk to you all later.

I am sorry you are not feeling well. I almost wished for you that it was gallbladder that there was a surgery for to correct and get better faster. Just relax and try to not let things bother you that might upset your ulcer even more. And AVOID spicy foods..

Thanks all,

I was out of work yesterday but it was not due to the ulcer. It was due to the side affects of the medication. I had a headache now for about 3 days. It's better today but not gone. My doctor gave me a stronger pain medication for the headache but when 3 out of the 5 medicines you are on have a side affect of headaches it is bound to happen. The test results came back negitive so it just needs time to heal. The stomache is feeling better today and yesterday but now the head. It can only get better.

Tamara, How are you feeling now? Are the headaches finally gone? How are the ulcers doing? I hope you're feeling better and are able to enjoy your weekend.

Ouchie. Sounds like you are getting it from several directions. I'm glad the test was negative. Here's hoping that headache goes away. That's the worst!
