Talking Holiday exercise challenge

Ok, so again with the Holiday challenge

To try and stay motivated and keep fit and to stay active over the next 2 months I am challenging everyone to:

1) exercise at least 15 minutes to 1/2 an hour per day- this could be part of your already establised routine or starting out by doing some simple stretches in the morning when you get up or a walk a round the neigborhood with your family to check out the Christmas lights

2) sneak in some extra exercise - this could be taking the stairs in your building or at the mall, parking your car further away from the shops so you get some extra walking in or taking your kids (or your friends) skating or toboganning

Please post your daily efforts so we can all keep on track together

Joined CURVES and got my first workout in!!! And you all KNOW how sedentary I have been. I am going to start at 3 times a week since I am so out of shape, and try to work up to 5 once I am not so sore.

Yay!!! for Dentrassi!!!! Becareful with the 5 times per week sweetie. I think they advise the 3 times as your muscles need time to rest or some such thing in between exercise sessions.
I'm so proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!! now go take a nice nap

Yay Den! You're right to take it slow...if you overdo it, you'll want to quit. And you're not going to quit!

Geez, my exercise is coming all the way up to the Alternachicks forum these days....my other group moved alllllll the way down to Misc. Clubs....at the bottom of the list. We used to be just next door...

I'm in for this challenge, though. I'm working on a run/walk thing on the treadmill.

keep the motivation up....BE HAPPY!!!~

Sure, LadyOnFire. At the stop lights, just frantically rotate your arms and legs and you'll burn a few calories.
