Well I am wearing my halloween shirt and I have already been made fun of. Dumb men. They have no sense of festivness (is that a word?) I like my shirt, it is black with a orange pumpkin on the front. I found it at Target for $5 so I couldn't pass it up.

Thank goodness all of the candy in my house will be gone after today. We are having a party for the subdivision right in front of my hosue tonight so I am going to make sure that I get rid of it all tonight. Let someone elses kids take it.

What is going on in ya'lls neck of the woods today?

Kem, those moron's were really looking at your ta ta's but since you had a pumpkin there, it gave them a legal excuse to look and drool LOLOL.. $5 WAY TO COOL! I wouldn't pass that up either.

Tonight I'll get the bambino dressed up and we will walk up the street and then back home. There's really nothing out there for a 2 year old but I feel guilty if I dont lol OY

Have fun at your party !!!!!

HI all......busy morning......dd 11 had her halloween dance last night and came home broken hearted.....her "crush" didn't ask her to dance....she slept all night with me.....my "crush" was not impressed!

Getting dd5 ready for her halloween party today.....she is a friendly witch...I have a spider on my cheek and black lipstick...trying to get into the spirit of things...never cared for Halloween much.

Leens The Schwarzbeing principle is a cure for depression and mood swings, helps with food addictions and cravings, reverses aging, prevents chronic conditions and diseases, improves metabloism and helps you lose body fat and reshape your body.

Her main principles are:

-eating low fat can make you fat

-can eat as much as you want without gaining weight

-replace body fat with lean muscle without spending hours at the gym everyday

-eating cholesterol can help prevent heart disease

I am still working my way through the book.

I will post more later....what not to eat etc. My girlfriend did this for her whole family and she is completely convinced. Her teenage son's whole body shape changed and his mood swings disappeared. I am just learning.

I just stuck a thread for books that we read here.
I'd appreciate it if you all could post your thoughts about the books your reading there.. I think this would really help us all.

I don't mean just books about depression and dieting, I'm talking about all books.

Thanks gals !!

Good afternoon chicks!

I am just way too busy at work and don't know when it slow down so that I can get on this puter and play with my cyberfriends! *sigh*

All is well, just really busy. HS football game was last night and we were the band bus chaperones so some sleep would probably do me some good. Busy night tonight, and then tomorrow I am spending the day with my mom at the Arts & Craft Show and get to eat lunch out. Then I've got to meet a friend for her birthday tomorrow night at a local mexican restaurant. I do not think I have ever eaten out twice in the same day! I'll have to "try" to be good!

I hope everybody has a great day and a great weekend!

hugs,
Cathy

Thought I'd check in today. It's DH's first day working from home. It's interesting!

Liz, it's rough for a mother to watch a DD grow up. The ages from 11 to 19 are pure unadulterated ****. Been there, did that and am now watching a GD14 go through it. As a grandmother and mother, my advice is to understand that what she is going through is normal. The hurts and disappointments are a part of life and will prepare her for the big world out there. Teach her to be strong! I tell my GD the same thing I told her mother....that she is very strong and comes from a long line of strong, independent women.

Well, I'd like to visit more, but I gotta go.......lot's of stuff going on...new equipment...new sounds.

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't get here yesterday.....Feeling pretty good today. I didn't get out for coffee this morning....it's for 8 A.M......didn't get to bed until midnight last night....just couldn't get out of bed at 6:30.....having to use the light box....that means I have to get out of bed a half an hour earlier....as it gets colder....am having a harder time getting up in the morning.

I am still doing ediets....it was a month on Oct. 28....have lost 6.5 lbs. in the month....& have lost 10 lbs.....since the beginning of August!!! They have my calories at 1200 to 1300 calories...but I am finding myself hungry at times....so I have asked them to increase the calories by 200.

Have to go for now....DH wants me to make up the formula for washing the floors....he is going to wash them now.
So will come back later.

Talking Hello Ladies

this is not my face

I got a call this afternoon from my Drs. office. My thyroid is still slow, plus my cholesterol is up again. So they're upping my Synthroid, and putting me on Zocor for the cholesterol. The way I feel right now, I think maybe the Dr. should add an antidepressant. Just call us "Homebound's Pharmacy"

I hope everyone has fun tonite. Go easy on the candy!

Down here, this is a pretty big weekend. Not only is tonite Halloween, but tomorrow is the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party , otherwise known as the Georgia/Florida game. I only have one comment:

GO GATORS!!!
