Default Tartar sauce

I made this over the weekend and it turned out very good!

1/2 cup mayo
1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
A pinch of Splenda

In a small bowl, mix together all ingredients. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

It would probably work, but I don't know if that would give you the extra flavor in it since you already have dill relish in it. The contrasting flavor is nice and it cuts the sweet from the splenda. If you don't like lemon juice, I'd just try it without it.

Hi,this is almost like I make mine, but I add finely chopped green onion tops to it. Also I think the lemon juice, fresh squeezed about 1/4 of a lemon is almost a must, for some reason it gives it a more realistic tartar sauce taste, rather than just mayo mayo, which is my fav condiment.
