I just went to Wendy's today for lunch and they have some new salads. I had the Mandarin Chicken Salad which was great. A nice serving size. Not too sure of the points because they aren't listed on any of the sites. But it comes with a package of crispy rice noodles and roasted almond slices, and an Oriental dressing of which I only used 1/2 pack. I also only used 1/4 of the almonds but all of the rice noodles.

I'm figuring about 8 points total. And it was very filling.

If anyone does know the counts for these new salads, please post them!!

I'm afraid I don't know, but you can keep an eye on the webpage:

http://www.wendys.com/the_menu/nut_frame.html

I guess you could also give them a call or send an email... isn't it the law that they have to provide nutrient info? Someone should tell Red Robin that.

Good luck!

KellyQ, It is for items in the stores unless the company falls into a special category. Restaurants are not required to provide the nutritional information.

Default Wendy's salads

I've had this salad also. It is delicious. Be careful with the dressing...it is very high in calories!
I did the same thing you did when I ate it, only I used about 1/4 of the dressing.

The dressing is listed on Dottie's Website. It is 8 points for the whole package (Oriental). Thought you'd like to know.

I'll check out Wendy's website too.

Default Mandarin Salad HIGH in points

I just checked the Mandarin salad on the wendy's Nutritional Guide..and it's pretty high.

The salad itself is not high; it's only 3 points. But the Almods is worth 3 points and the dressing that comes with it is a whopping 7 points. It also comes with noodles that is only 1 point. So it's 14 points in total. You could always get a different low-fat dressing. They have French, ranch and italian. Good luck.
