I am so tired of feeling terrible.
This past weekend was the best weather we have had this entire summer. My husband went out on our boat with friends. I was stuck in bed in terrible pain from a bulging disc in my lower back. Probably 99.9% attributable to being overweight. I have been laid up for almost 5 days. On all kinds of pain medication and in excruciating pain. It is so depressing to miss out on the fun things in life. I am done.
Today starts a new page.
I am still moving slow. I will start physical therapy in about a week. But until then, I am going to move more and eat better. Little steps.

Welcome! I am a fellow back pain sufferer. PT sounds like a great idea, as does weight loss. One thing that has been incredibly effective for me is acupuncture- it got me off the pain meds and keeps my back pretty stable in between my once-monthly sessions. Just a thought.
