eating and exercise are definitely worth it, when the weight starts coming off you gain a momentum that can't really be matched. once, i did this thing where i made a list of all the hours in a day because i thought that being good for an hour was much easier than thinking about being good for a day. so i started to take every hour at a time and then went from there. it felt super obsessive and weird but it worked for a little until i stopped. pretty much, the best thing i can think of to do is to get on a normal sleeping pattern. wake up early (even if you don't want to) and then be tired enough to sleep at around 9-10 so that you aren't up all night thinking of food.
