Question Crock Pots or Pressure Cookers

Hi everyone - I am new to this board. I am looking for any Pressure Cooker or Crock Pot recipes that are low fat and/or calorie. Have been following the Weight Watcher program for a couple of months. I recently purchased an electric pressure cooker and am always looking for a quick way to prepare meals.

Any help is appreciated.... thank you.

Myra

Hi Myra:

I made "Chinese Veggies" in my crockpot.
Whatever kind of veggies you like, add a little ginger & soy sauce and good on low for a couple of hours.

Also roast beef with veggies around it. This is nice to come home to. Also I have cooked ham and added a little diet gingerale and covered it with lemon curd. This turned out nice.

Also look under crockpot recipes - hopes this helps.

YUM! Crock Pot food! Hubby likes to cook with the crock pot (He is the chef around here...I rarely cook.) but we ran out of ideas so we went to our local used book store and got a book that has low fat crock pot recipies in it. So far..so good!

Default crock pot chicken-or pork roast

hi
I use the crock pot all the time. I just get it set up before work and plug it in and come home to a home smelling of dinner! I put in a pork roast or chicken breasts quite a bit. I just set the meat in the bottom and season. When I arrive home I pour off the juice and shred the meat with a fork. Then I pour a bit of barbecue sauce over it and mix up. It's great with a side salad and or a veg. The kids usually like it on rolls. The fix it and forget it cook book is also a great book to get you started.
