Thank you for starting a new weigh-in thread and also for the template, Mama Angel. I Europeanized the template so people can copy mine if they want that (our weeks are Monday to Sunday, not Sunday to Saturday). Here's to a good July for everyone!

SW: 188.5
GW: Any amount of loss sounds good to me. It would be nice to beat last month's 1.3 lbs loss, but I have a lot of parties coming up this month too so it will be difficult.

1. 188.5
2. 188.5
3. 188.5 (I am beginning to wonder if my scale is just repeating itself for its own amusement, I have been exactly 188.5 for a week now.)
Loss this week: 0.0

4. 187.2
5. 188.1
6. 188.1
7. 188.1 (I had pizza yesterday, so this is a nice surprise!)
8. 188.1
9. 188.1 (Apparently I am really good at maintenance... Except it's not what I'm going for! )
10. 188.1
Loss this week: 0.4

11. 189.6 (No idea where this came from, I thought I ate well yesterday. )
12. DNW
13. 189.6
14. DNW
15. DNW
16. DNW
17. DNW
Loss this week: -1.5

18. 191.1
19. 189.6
20. 189.6
21. 189.6
22. 188.1
23. 188.1
24. 188.1
Loss this week: 1.5

26. 186.5
26. 186.5
27. 186.5
28. Party
29. Party
30. Big party - this week will be my undoing.
31. 189.6
Loss this week: -1.5

Total monthly loss: -1.1 - I knew those parties would kill all progress and set me back. Bad timing with all of them at the end of the month, but oh well. There is always a next month!

I would love to see some more progress this month. I dunno if it's gonna happen, but we'll see....once the cake is gone and the 4th is over. I'm crossing my fingers for no more plateaus this year. It took me 11 months to lose that last 10 lbs.

SW: 150.2
GW: 145

7/01: 150.2
7/02: 149.8
7/03: 149.4
7/04: 149.6 T
7/05: 149.6
7/06: 150.2 O
7/07: 151.2
7/08: 152.0 M

7/09: 153.4
7/10: 152.6
7/11: 152.2
7/12: 151.8
7/13: 151.4

7/14: 153.0 I love how 4 days of work is undone in a day. Not fair. I have until the 24th to lose new lbs. I don't see it happening.
7/15: 153.0
7/16: 153.8
7/17: 153.2 Well, so far this has been the first month I haven't seen 154 or 155 yet so maybe it is progress...in a way.
7/18: 152.8
7/19: 153.2 That's it. Time to break out the decaf. It's gonna be a very restrictive week.
7/20: 152.0
7/21: 150.8
7/22: 150.4
7/23: 150.8 Not too bad considering pizza night
7/24: 150.6
7/25: 151.0
7/26: 150.8
7/27: 151.8
7/28: 152.0 TOM start
7/29: 152.2
7/30: 152.6
If I can avoid a 1.5 lb gain I will consider it an accomplishment. I need something. I'm tired of beating myself up over lack progress.
7/31: 152.6

Total monthly loss: Gained 2 lbs. I knew deep down I wouldn't lose weight this month. I sense a pattern here. If there is one then I won't lose weight next month either. This is my 3rd plateau this year. It's incredibly frustrating to not be able to lose weight for 2 or 3 months straight with only one or two progress months in between and IT KEEPS HAPPENING for over a year and a half now.

I fell off with logging my wt in Mid July, but I still weighed in everyday. It was less than I wanted to lose, but it was a loss.
This month 8/1 will be my end date and my start date for august weigh ins as Im going on vacation.

Kiwi: I know the feeling. I didn't weigh in for 3 days because I was traveling and my food choices were going to be crap anyways. I am not happy with the weight gain so I am back on the food tracking wagon and I am determined to get to 10 lbs for the month. Here's to accomplishing our weight goals for the month!!

Thank you. I have found myself weighing in everyday again but missed about a week of logging so I just caught up. Thank God my fitbit keeps a log for me. Hanging out on weekends this summer are no good for me. I have found myself eating dairy which I LOVE, but my body doesn't since I am lactose intolerant so I think I hold onto some water and my body probably goes into inflammatory processes that cause me to immediately gain. I am trying to get back on track. I have a Bermuda vacation in 2.5wks so I hope I can be at least fairly strict until then since I will be wanting to live in a swimsuit the whole time. I am a little discouraged though as I've been in a plateau for a while.

I spent the end of last month and beginning of July moving! I also had to buy a knew scale because mine broke in the move. I'm down a bit, but I'm not entirely sure if that's real, or due to slight variations in the scale. Oh well.

Kids broke my laptop and I managed to fix it. However, both of my keyboards are fried so I will be buying a new comp in the next few days. Until then, I'm stuck with my phone to update my weights

Sorry to hear about your laptop. I hope it won't be too much of an inconvenience going without a fully functional computer for a while.

Do you think you might have some kind of trigger, a certain food or stress or something? Or if you're craving certain foods it might be because you're lacking certain nutrients and trying to compensate. Something in fast foods, even if I have something small and light, seems to trigger me to eat more late in the day or the next day. Also if I eat a lot one day then it takes a few days before I am able to easily eat less again, maybe because the stomach's "shrinking" back to how it was, I dunno.

If you aren't already, you could try filling up on the healthier foods first so you'll be fuller on the good stuff and might not want the bad stuff as much. I've also read that during a meal it is helpful to eat protein and fiber-rich vegetables before the higher carb foods. I think it slows absorption of the carbs/sugars. I try to do this and I have noticed that I eat more throughout the day if the first thing I eat is high carb. Hopefully the weight you've gained is just or mostly water and will come off without too much hassle.

This month has just been rough emotionally and mentally. My oldest daughter goes back to Alaska on Saturday and then I have to fly back to Oregon the next day. We are moving at the beginning of the month to a new, bigger place and trying to figure out finances for it as well as paying for my plane ticket. My weight loss has been horrible this month due to all the stress and emotional baggage. My oldest wants to live with us permanently but we can't do it due to her grandparents (whole 'nother story in itself). She's 10.5 years old and is almost 5 feet tall; also, only weighs 88 lbs plus is ADHD. Ugh..sometimes I hate my life

Circa, I will completely admit that I have just not been eating well. I have also not been on 3fc. I liken this site to AA or OA whatever. I need to visit the site daily to keep me motivated and keep me on track. I have just fallen off the wagon. I am going to be back on track despite not being able to weigh in. I am leaving for vacation to Bermuda tomorrow and I will likely eat really well there and I will have time to visit the site daily.I think its the reboot that I need. I am unhappy with the weight that I've gained this month
