Good morning from rainy Delta, a farmers' rain, not pelting but gentle. The fields sure need it so I hope we get a lot. The weekly predictions shows another three rainy days coming this week.
That should relieve the drought situation a bit. Several years ago, Western Canada had the same dry weather and the eastern farmers started Hay West and shipped bales of it out there. I'm sure they will do the same for us if worse comes to worst.
Tomorrow is Quilting Biddies pot luck lunch and I need to make Food Porn Rum Cake this morning. I got everything organized and realized I am out of cooking oil. Olive oil won't cut it so that project is on hold until I get to the store. It seems all my casual pants are just finishing up in the dryer. (The weekends are washing days in the Village as our electricity rates are much lower!)
Broke training last night and had a burger and fries from the food truck at the corner. Sigh! I didn't even finish it - pitched half the fries and gave the dogs half the burger. I won't be doing that again for a while since I did not sleep well after my transgression. "Bless me, Sisters, for I have sinned!"
On with the day.
