Are leeks allowed on Phase 1? I see some clinics allow them and others don't mention them at all. My clinic doesn't even mention them on their Phase 1 print out. I know IP sells a leek soup and French women love them and feel they are are delicious and a diuretic. I like them because they taste great sautéed in place of onions. Onions aren't kind to my belly anymore.

What do you guys think? I had a lot of them sautéed last night and still lost weight so I'm thinking they are fine.

There was some recent back and forth but apparently IP confirmed leeks were removed from the protocol b/c of the carb/sugar content, especially when cooked.

I have no clue. It seems like IP is making a lot of confusing changes lately. I think it's partly due to pressure to keep sales up/keep people happy with the program.
