Default What's biggest challenge to getting the body you want?

I am testing a combination of a couple of methods to see what will work best with my lifestyle, but I find my biggest challenge to getting the body I want is the "working out" bit.

I like to move (walk, dance for fun) but I DON'T want to go to the gym. My biggest challenge has never been so much the food. I love experimenting with food and I love to cook. However, you start telling me to lift dumbells and I'm like...."Umm...no."

I'm curious about others on here...what your biggest challenge?

I love to exercise but do struggle with the organisation of the food ......

It's so easy to ruin a good day foodwise so very quickly ..... Sometimes without even thinking about it .....

Genes. You really can get everything else right and look great. But the final mile depends on your heritage. Unfortunately.

Question Loose skin

Loose skin hanging off my abs, thighs, arms, etc.
I look fine standing up - defined abs, arms, etc, but if I bend over or do a plank or hold my arms out - loose skin hanging off and it took 4 years for me to lose the weight (approx 100 lbs) and I've kept it off since 2011 (5 years) and I exercise at least 5 days a week and do planks and rowing machine every day.

Wow FitFatForty! That's quite the accomplishment losing all that weight. Also for being so consistent with your exercise. You've given more motivation to workout. You diligence has paid off.

I wish health insurance would cover a cosmetic surgery for people that have lost a significant amount of weight and would like to improve the way the skin looks. Especially if a doctor said that the patient must lose that weight for their health.

Either way, your accomplishment is something to be proud of.
